Here is a very brief recap of last week's game at Nashville and a preview of this week's game at Sparta and the playoff implications for the Carterville Lions. It's really very simple:
Last week's loss was bad!
Lions must beat Sparta...and Pinckneyville...and Massac County! And oh yeah...hope you have enough points to make the playoffs!
Thank you! Great in depth commentary on your Carterville Lions, I know, but it really is just. that. simple. It doesn't matter what happened last week. It was a tough loss. The same holds true this week. It doesn't matter how it gets done....but the Lions must win tonight, next Friday night and the next Friday night (10/21), and it it doesn't happen at all, the Lions don't make the playoffs. Do those things and you wait to see if you have enough points to get in. If this doesn't pump you up to get ready to play, I don't know what will.
Game time for tonight's game at Sparta is 7:00 PM.
Carterville Jr. High - STATE BASEBALL CHAMPIONS!
Congrats to our Jr High team on winning the Class L State Baseball championship yesterday 6-1 over Salem.
Carterville Girls Golf
The Carterville Lions Girls Golf team finished the regional tournament at West Frankfort in second place. Congratulations to Coach Keenan Clark and the Lady Lions!
Video Live-Stream/Radio Broadcast
Oh to get back home again. Being on the road, it hard to tell what kind of live-stream broadcast we can bring to you. At home, we have great cell service, and except for me messing up, the video's have been pretty good. When you are on the road, cell service can be sketchy at best at times. That was what happened last week at Nashville. Everything looked good on our end, however, when I went back to look at the video, it's wasn't' that good. Hopefully this week it will be better at Sparta.
