Oh My Nerves!

Wow! I am nervous! Like Game 7 against the Blackhawks kinda nervous.

Tonight my Blues take on San Jose Sharks in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. Win? Move on to game 7. Lose? I don't' want to talk about it.

As I sit here thinking about this game, I think I'm more nervous today that I was in either of the game 7 against Chicago or Dallas. This Sharks team is playing very very well. And when they are on their game, they are tough. But, the same exact thing can be said about the Blues.

But it all comes down to tonight. Win and there is a tomorrow. Lose? I don't want to talk about it.

I'm hoping that Vladi decides to show up tonight. He has been shut out by the Sharks defense the entire series. The Blues need to get at least one goal from their regular season scoring leader tonight. I think if that were to happen that could give them the lift they need to play another day. And it might just be what would get #91 going the rest of the way.

Moose is back in goal tonight and I like this move by Hitchcock. Brian has carried this team from late in the season through the first two rounds of the playoffs.

In the meantime, I will be in my spot...18 inches from the tv living and dying with every shot, hit, power-play and goal.

If they win, we get a game 7. If they don't? I don't want to talk about it.
