Country Oldies, Arthritis Walk, Time at the Lake and Momma's Day. Just Another Weekend

I knew going into this weekend that it was going to be a crazy busy weekend as I had several things going on in different places.
Friday Night I was able to kick this off with a relaxing dinner with my girls. It's had been a while since we had visited the Frenchman's Widow in Herrin. Amy and I love to sit out on the deck and just relax. this week we were joined by Ms. Thang.
Of course every single Saturday Morning begins with my Saturday Morning Oldies Show on New Country Z100. Friday nights I complain about getting up at 5 am the next morning, but once I get in the studio, all the complaints change to enjoyment. As always there is a theme to my post and this week it was to honor the Mothers. Lots' of request to hear their favorite "mama" song.
Saturday afternoon late I had a live broadcast at Macks Lake of Egypt Marina. I love this place and Mack and Fritzi truly take care of you when you visit.
Sunday was all about the "Mama's" and I get to share my life with one the truly great mama's...my Amy!
Amy is the light of my life and simply amazes me with her caring and love and her ability to help my see and understand things in a different way.
We spent the day at home with the kiddo's and then during the afternoon we spent having a cookout with the rest of her family. Just another great day in the life of the "The McTurners"!
