Well Hello Again Rent One Park!

Today was like welcoming back an old friend.
Today was the first exhibition game for the 2016 Southern Illinois Miners as they took on the Gateway Grizzlies at Rent One Park. It was what the Miners call an "Education Day" game as area schools come to the park and enjoy a meal and a game.
This year, I get to return to Rent One and the Miners organization as the PA announcer for the season. I was the backup announcer a handful of years ago, and really loved doing it, so I was very happy when the opportunity came back around this year.
The regular season will kick off on Friday, May 13th. It's going to be a good year!
One thing I know for sure, this is a pretty good view to watch a game.
